Police say a 23-year-old girl from Kelowna, B.C., died after a single-vehicle collision on the Trans-Canada Freeway close to Banff on Wednesday night.
The automobile was travelling westbound when it misplaced management and rolled over on the Minnewanka Street/Banff Avenue exit, in response to RCMP.
The girl was pronounced lifeless on the scene when emergency crews arrived.
Three different passengers — a person, a girl and a feminine youth, all from Kelowna — had been assessed for minor accidents and brought to hospital.
Police say they’re persevering with to analyze the collision however do not plan on offering any additional updates to the general public.
