Vancouver Police are investigating town’s first murder of 2021 after an individual was stabbed within the early morning hours of January 31.
Police mentioned officers have been referred to as to the Gastown Lodge on Water Avenue at roughly 5:30 am on Sunday.
Once they arrived on the on the a single-room occupancy constructing, officers found that two folks had been stabbed.
A 40-year-old from Vancouver died on the scene, police mentioned.
The second sufferer, a 28-year-old from Vancouver, was taken to hospital with accidents which are described as “critical however not life-threatening.”
Police mentioned a 48-year-old Vancouver man was arrested close by and stays in custody.
