Bell Media cuts radio jobs, including on-air broadcast roles, in streamlining push

Bell Media says it has lower employees, together with on-air broadcast roles, as a part of a streamlining course of.

Bell spokesman Marc Choma says there have been a restricted quantity of employees reductions, however didn’t specify what number of jobs had been lower.

Bell says the roles have been lower as a result of programming choices by Bell’s radio manufacturers as a part of the corporate’s streamlined working construction.

Bell claims to be Canada’s largest radio broadcaster with 215 music channels, 109 licensed radio stations and 58 markets throughout Canada.

Final month, Bell Media confirmed it had restructured its  management crew resulting in some employees departures.

The adjustments come as Bell Media places higher precedence on rising its streaming platforms.
