ATLANTA — Former Georgia Sen. David Perdue filed marketing campaign paperwork Monday, opening up the potential for the not too long ago defeated Republican to run in opposition to Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock in 2022.
Perdue, 71, filed an announcement of candidacy with the Federal Election Fee, an early step towards a attainable bid to return to Washington.
