A 62-year-old Fort McMurray man has been arrested for uttering threats in opposition to his native member of Parliament.
Police have been alerted by the Workplace of the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Home of Commons about alleged threats in opposition to Fort McMurray-Athabasca MP David Yurdiga, Wooden Buffalo RCMP mentioned in a launch Wednesday night time.
Bradley Love was arrested Tuesday and charged with uttering threats to trigger demise or bodily hurt and indecent communication with intent to alarm.
Love has been launched on an endeavor with situations to attend Fort McMurray Provincial Court docket on March 17.
Yurdiga, a Conservative MP, was first elected to the Home of Commons in 2014.
RCMP mentioned that Parliament Hill safety has “taken measures to make sure the security of MP David Yurdiga and his workers.”
