Instagram was awash with blue squares this week as customers internationally took a stand in opposition to anti-Semitism.
The social media marketing campaign, referred to as #BlueOutFriday, was launched after a reported rise in anti-Semitic incidents spurred by the Israel-Gaza battle.
As of Might 22, greater than 12,300 Instagram posts have been shared with the hashtag as customers stood in solidarity with the Jewish group.
In response to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) there have been “quite a few” anti-Semitic incidents recorded round in Canada and the world since clashes erupted final month.
“The perpetrators of those assaults intentionally focused Jewish establishments in an effort to categorical their anger in the direction of Israel,” the non-profit wrote.
