Allegations of inappropriate behaviour against Vance ‘troubling,’ say Defence leaders

Canada’s high defence officers say they’re troubled by allegations that former defence chief Jonathan Vance engaged in inappropriate behaviour with feminine subordinates.

World Information reported on Tuesday that Vance allegedly had an ongoing relationship with a girl he considerably outranked.

Vance can also be alleged to have made a sexual remark to a second, a lot youthful soldier in 2012, earlier than he was appointed chief of the defence employees.

In a joint assertion, Vance’s successor Admiral Artwork McDonald and Defence Division deputy minister Jody Thomas say they take all such allegations critically, with out suggesting they’d substantiated these.
